Early Voting

Early voting started last Friday, so if you are going to be away from your precinct on September 9, be sure to go vote. Tim Walz is unopposed in the primary, but if anyone is feeling up for a little Operation Chaos, Dick Day is an inviting option!

I'm finally going on vacation this weekend, so my posts will continue to be a bit sparse for a while, but I plan on returning with more substance later in the month.

I hope that voters take a serious look at the two Republicans on the primary ballot.

Dr. Brian Davis is a neophyte that is playing on emotional issues and has never held any elective office.
Contrast that with State Senator Dick Day who is in his sixth term having been first elected in 1990 where he has held leadership positions. His experience in the give-and-take necessary to move legislation forward in the areas of taxes (as well as the issues related to transportation, education, agriculture, etc.), should be weighed carefully by those primary voters.

I was disappointed to hear that Blogger Evil Bobby acknowledged that a group voted for Gregory Mikkelson in the 2006 Republican Primary in an Operation Chaos effort … that was wrong … voters this year have a clear choice.
